How to Eat Hummus, Abby-style

First, grab a cracker (or piece of cheese, carrot, pita- whatever strikes your fancy).


Next, dip! Drop it down nice and deep, and coat it well.


Then, lick your morsel clean of hummus.


(Don't worry yourself about the stuff on your fingers; they're just going to get more on them anyway.)


And... repeat!


Can you tell that she loved it? She finished half the bowl, using only a few pieces of cheese and crackers.




But, see, here's the thing: these were taken on September 26th. About a week later, we ordered lunch from Zoe's Kitchen again, and offered Abby her own bowl of hummus. She was only mildly interested. Go figure...

Perhaps that was just the first sign of the picky, "I don't really feel like eating" phase that she's in right now. It's good times.
