The Buckle Monster

Ali and Joe had to leave us by 10:30 this morning.  But that still left a couple of hours for some last-minute fun, mainly centering around the new, exciting, temporary addition to the playroom: the air mattress.  I had Tom grab the camera for me, as I had my hands full with Michael.

Here's Abby enjoying some bouncy goodness...

...and deflate-y action...

...followed by snuggles with Uncle Joe.

And here's Michael, thumb-in-mouth, taking in the scene.

As if that weren't enough excitement for one day, Abby woke from her nap to discover Mima, Mei Mei, and Granda waiting for her in the playroom, having arrived for their weekly Sunday visit.  Even Auntie Lisa came for dinner.

But Abby's new alter-ego, the Buckle Monster (a mischievous little creature with a strange, new compulsion, who can leave no buckle undone) still had time to strike.  I documented the evidence from her booster seat...

... and Michael's bouncy chair.

Her work was not quite done, however.  She neglected Michael's swing, an oversight that I am confident she will remedy tomorrow.

Coming all-too-soon: the Un-buckle Monster.  Whatever will we do, then?
